The Ruben's tube
You can't argue with fire, can you?
The Ruben’s tube has many small holes drilled into a steel pipe, filled with butane gas. On one side, a speaker transmits audio frequencies to the membrane, which turns them into pressure waves. As the waves of different frequencies bounce back from the other side, they interact with themselves and either add up or cancel each other out, creating high and low pressure regions. Because different pressure waves travel at different speeds, they create larger flames at different holes.
